LIFE AFTER FLOUNDER

it has been some time since the last update, for one reason it has been a bit slow. the other reason is we have changed our schedule to friday, saturday, sunday, and monday for sailing. the action has been ok, not good but ok. the blue fish are around some going in the 2lb range. small rock are around as well. the surprise fish the past few weeks are the drum that we found recently. each day a few were caught in the 20 to 35lb range. long time friend and customer wally and his son jim spent the day and jimbo banged a nice 25lb fish. long lost phil finely returned to the bonanza to catch his drum a nice 25lb fish. then you have ted "fishspit" mc daniels with his 35lb fish. ted fishes twice a week with his fishing partners al anderson and harry adams. they can been seen in the picture with russ samano with the drum, tog, trout, and some blues on a recent trip. some spot, croakers and some trout are around as well . we have been anchoring inshore targeting what ever we can find. it will not be long until the water temps. drop and the rock and tog fishing begins. look forward to a great fall fishing season.

FLOUNDER IT'S OVER 2009

our last trip of 2009 flounder was on friday the 4th of september. this has been one of the best years overall that has been seen for some time. fishing the upper bay has produced some nice fish this year and we certainly have nothing to complain about, well with the exception that it is now closed. as they say there is always next year, if that is they do not limit us even more. as the year winded down this past week daddy ed aksion from millville caught his limit of 6 in true fashion. ed only if penn real bob could take lessons from you his freezer will be full. big john won the pool on thursday the 3ed with his 22" fluke. on friday the 4th ( send me your name i will put it up ) won the pool with the first fish of the day. no flounder dave and your doing it all wrong mike spent the day trying to put that last one of the year in the box. thanks guys for this year fishing, both of you have come a long way. to all of our loyal flounder fisherman from all of the crew of the bonanza II thank you for spending the summer of 2009 with us. the 4
