HOWARD WALLER
howard and his group showed up at the big ole bonanza II on saturday the 18th as planed. the only thing that did not happen as to the plan was the fish. but that did not stop them from having a great day on the delaware bay. howard i hope that we will get a chance to fish with all of you again soon. and let chevey know that capt. joe jr. and i say hey.

oh the fluke are doing their thing. over the last week and a half it has been, let's say HOT. i can not remember this good a start on the flat ones. the only thing that has a bad effect on the flounder is a bad drift. if the wind and tide go against each other it is time to eat a sandwich or have a beer. we had joe smathers and his grand son josh mc farland keep nine fish, then ron chastity and brett from reading, managed to catch a few. fred heyward and son justin, from sickerliville caught some fat flatties, a 25", 24", 20", and a 19" now that is flukin. then you have a group from phila. pa that had some fish and just plain old enjoyed a day on the bay. john and" mother" lori gora, beth and my man liam elliot, danna and nick , thanks for spending a day with us, look forward to doing it again. then you have the trio of lori, big nate, and how can we forget tim from drumin tenn. thank you leon for those treats. over all it has been good when the drift allows it to be. i know that i am forgetting names so if you see your picture just let me know and it will be posted. thank you all for fishing with us.
FLOUNDER FISHING

it has been some time since the flounder fishing has been like this. now do not think that every day we go out we light them up, but it has been good. over the past week or so it just keep getting better, and better. the big fish of this week came from our very own pin real bob again, he had a 26" 8lb fish. then the very next day he came down with his son bob jr and between the two of them tagged 9 more fish. carol and hubby chad from quiton showed us that their is more than just drum fish to catch, they made a nice catch up of fluke, you also had no flounder dave ( i have to come up with a new name for him, he is catching fish now ) with another catch of fluke. way to go. bob from vineland returned to the bonanza , and after some reacquainting and ribbing at each other he started to keep some fish. nice to see you bob, look forward to fishing with you again. willy cuebas from uwchland pa. was down with his grand son andre' they manged to catch a few and even keen some. andre' did the big job of the day and gave me some relief at the wheel on the way in. i see a future captain in him. thanks andre'. their is a picture of someone that caught a real nice fish on his new fishing rod, but just let me say this was NOT the pool fish. the lost fisherman came back to his roost, hey man showed up for the first time this year. on his debut he even went home with some flounder. see you soon hey man. the other lost fisherman that came back to his roost was long time friend and good fisherman mr jim bradley from delaware. jim it was great to see you again. i hope it is more often. well if you want some come on down and get some, it's good.

once again day fishing has showed us some nice fish. on thursday july 2 we had a group from carneys point come down for a relaxing day on the bay , andrew, matt, a.j., dale, haley, and cassidy. they managed to go back to carneys point with a few keepers, cassidy and haley even held one of the fish. on the same day big joe from the buckener fished with his daughter, what a nice way to spend a day joe, ralph would be proud of you. the pool winner was no other than my man larry, this makes three straight pools for him. way to go larry. once again this week no flounder dave found his calling and keep a few nice fish. i am not sure dave must be holding his head the right way. this week we also had a few 5lb fluke caught by mr. tom wilson, they must be thick if he can catch them. we also had one 28" 8lb flounder caught by ed grover. way to get er done. well with the 4th of july on us all i can say is , let's go fishing.
