STILL FISHING

day fishing has been, let's say mixed. one day is good and one day is not so good. the croakers that we were seeing have moved on, a few remain but not in the numbers that the past were giving up. as for the flounder that to has changed. on some days you do ok, with every one catching, then the very next day it is back to what happened. the group from chichester fire dep. came down for their yearly fishing trip, what a group that is. the good thing about them this year is that buck did not kiss the blue fish. that was a good thing. we had little jack from fla. join us one day with his dad jack and brother brian. little jack knows a lot of things and when it comes to steering the boat he knows in what direction to go, " that way ". on one trip steve and and karen casey from mucilla hill spent the day on the bay with their children alyson and steven and their friend emily herman. what a day they had with young steven at 7 years old catching the fish of the day a 26" 7lb flounder. he brought it in like a true fisherman, then smiled and let the rest of the boat what he caught. watching steven and his family with that fish remind us all that their are some things in life, no matter how large or small, that are simply priceless. great job steve. we still have some time to target the flounder so come on down and try. as al anderson says " you can not stop trying because then all you have done is quit "
