DAY FISHING 8/3

day fishing this past week was good. the croaks changed daily in size from small to mediums and back to small. the numbers are good, and we will still keep going after them. the jumbos have to be around the corner. while fishing for the croaks we have caught some nice flounder this past week, just ask steve wagner, eric wagner, and jim paylor. they caught well on friday, the flat fish ranger from 18 1/2" to 22", and they managed to keep 4 between them. uncle russ manager some croaks and a keeper fluke at 19". gatty kevin and bill keep some flounder as well . the flounder that we are seeing now are between 18" and 24", the keeper ratio is not like it was a few weeks ago but we are keeping some. we have also seen some keeper trout in the 16" to 17" range, and a few keeper black sea bass. after spending the better part of the day down the bay fishing for the croaks we have been heading back north to look for more flounder and some blues. hope to see you all soon.
