OCTOBER 26

this week we only sailed on friday the 24th and sunday the 26th. the water temp. was in the 56deg. to 59deg. area. on friday we had some croakers of decent size, and some trout. mr. al anderson won the pool on this day. i will tell you what that man loves his fishing, he is still making the trip down to fortescue two times a week, and what a pleasure to have around. the conversation never gets slow , and he if full of information. sunday was the day of the croaker. a few of the charter boats did find a few keeper bass. i do hear some more being caught each day. well we will keep you informed of any new catches.

OCTOBER WHAT

well it is october 21st and we are still stuck at the dock. the last day that we did manage to get out was friday the 17th and the wind was howling. it started out with some blue fish on top, these were the small ones 1/2 lb to 1lb. then we went over to some structure to try to hook up but this proved to be a futile event. the seas were enough to pull the anchor out 4 times. after re anchoring above the elbow a few trout and some croakers were boated. their was some blue fish mixed in. the high spot of the day was that 3 small stripers were caught. the water temp is still a bit high so lets see what happens after this week's cooler temps.

october fishing

fishing is fishing it's not good, it's not bad, it's just fishing. they say that cooler weather is on the way, duh, it's october. over the weekend we found some weakfish, some croakers, some bluefish and some kingfish. as of monday the 13 th the water temp. was 68 deg. on top and 65deg. on the bottom. it still needs to drop a bit for the rock to start to bite. on friday the 17 th we will try a little tog fishing and try to hook up for some rock. this will be the first for the year, then we will have a better idea of what is their at this time. charters are still available if anyone is still looking for some mid week fishing, just call for available dates.
