DAY FISHING

this week has been a short one. the sponsorship has been on the low side. however on thursday a few hearty fisherman did spend a wonderful day on the bay. the action started on the slow side but after a readjustment of location the fish were jumping into the boat, that is when you were able to keep the seagulls off your line. you see the bluefish were up pretty good and it was one after another, that was a good thing. for some reason we caught 6 birds as well, WOW. now for all you bird lovers i just want you to know that during this trip all birds were released and returned to the wild unharmed. i had the opportunity to meet some fine people today , the carr boys. when i asked where they were from the only place they said was san quintin, in salem co. i knew this group was a handful. the main spokesman name was cordell, but they called another brother 96. was not sure how that came about, they said their were 9 brothers and their dad would not sell one of them for a million dollars, but would not pay a nickle for one more. well anyhow the blue fish were very cooperative today, lets see what the weather has in store for the weekend.
