DAY FISHING 6/12/08

well o.k. it has been a little better as the week has gone on. we did not get out on wednesday, and monday and tuesday was a bit slow on the keeper side of things, the catching was great. on thursday a long time group from the delaware memorial bridge came down for their first day on the bay this year. they include ed, jim, steve, joe, ken, john, pepe, and captain (let's not be late again ) chris. ed did manage to keep a 18" flattie, and a few blues stayed for the ride back to fortescue. ed retirement is agreeing with you, enjoy. we fished just inside the channel and enjoyed a nice showing of porpoise swimming around us. their was a coast guard cutter that slowed down when she went by, that was nice. all in all fishing did get a bit better. thanks to all that came down this week.
